"Ashlynn"

Ashlynn first came to live with us as a puppy. We weren't planning on having any litters of our own and thought it would be nice to have some puppies to play with, socialize and show train. She went back home at around 5 months of age. We didn't see much of her until the Reliant all-breed cluster. Somehow or another we ended up taking her into the ring on the last day. She still remembered us and showed like she always did as a little pup.

It only took us those few moments in the ring with her to remember how much we like her and to realize how important a pretty girl like this would be to our breeding program. We didn't waste any time in setting up the arrangements to make her a part of the Chateau line-up.

Ashlynn's got fantastic balance and outline and she has lovely legs. What we love most about her is her profile. Her under-jaw is remarkably strong with wonderful finish, her head is not deep at all, tapering ever so slightly. Her stop is impeccably chiseled right where it needs to be, separating two perfectly parallel head-planes. Her top skull does not recede one iota.... We've never seen this in any other sheltie. Standing at just 14.5 inches at the withers, she comes with an awful lot of quality and virtues for such a small package.
